Nemanja Marjanovic , was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1976. He started playing violin at the age of eight, in the "dr Vojislav Vuckovic" music school, in the class of professor Milutin Popovic, where he achieved following results: one first award, two second awards and one third award. He started playing viola at the musical high school "Stankovic", in the class of professor Tatjana Petrovic. During high school he participated in founding of a string chamber orchestra, "Kornelije", where he played solo viola. With chamber orchestra "Kornelije" Nemanja had his first solo performances, and performed all over the Yugoslavia, in Moscow (Russia), Budapest (Hungary)… Italy, Greece. He enrolled at Belgrade Music Academy in the year of 1995, as the best candidate at the class of professor Dejan Mladjenovic. At his second year of study he won first prize at the "Petar Konjovic" international competition, of three stages. He performed in all greater towns and halls in the country, as a soloist as well as a chamber musician. He specialized at courses of Urlih Von Vrohem (Germany), Krzysztof Stochmialek (Italy), Yuri Bashmet (Russia), and Petar Mladenovic (Yugoslavia). For the first time in Yugoslavia, with the Belgrade Radio- TV Symphony Orchestra, he performed a piece by Nicollo Paganinni, Sonata per la Grand Viola e Orchestra. Numbers of compositions are specialy writen for him. Currently, he works as professor Dejan Mladjenovic's asistant at the Musical Academy in Belgrade, and in Kragujevac. He recorded for radio and television.
